A new rift has surfaced between social activist VeryDarkMan and human rights advocate Omoyele Sowore over the ongoing controversy surrounding the detention of entrepreneur B-Lord
VDM took issue with Sowore’s public demand for B-Lord’s release, criticising him for speaking out without first reaching out privately, despite their reportedly friendly relationship.
He said such a move showed a lack of regard, noting that he might have reconsidered his position if Sowore had engaged him behind the scenes before going public.
The disagreement quickly intensified, with VDM accusing Sowore of trying to “test his strength” and issuing a firm warning against involving him in the matter without permission. He made it clear that he would not hesitate to pursue legal action if his name or image is used without his consent in connection to the case.
VDM also downplayed Sowore’s intervention, describing it as unserious. He mocked the activist, calling him “funny” and even branding him a “comedian,” further escalating tensions between the two.
He said:
“If dem born you well Omoyele Sowore, use my picture just like B Lord did ok Billboard without my approval, me VeryDarkMan will send you to pr!son”
