Carter Efe has opened up about how he carried Wizkid on his head, and how the singer has failed to acknowledge him
He however says afrobeats superstar, Davido has impacted his life. This comes amid his ongoing clash with fans of Wizkid.
The drama began after Carter, fresh from his celebrity boxing victory over Portable, jokingly declared that he now wanted to fight Wizkid and requested that the singer’s son, Boluwatife Balogun, be present at the match.
The statement quickly stirred reactions across social media, especially among Wizkid supporters.
Speaking during a livestream, Carter reflected on his past loyalty to Wizkid, explaining that he constantly promoted the singer’s music around 2023 and 2024 whenever new projects dropped.
According to him, despite his dedication and public support, his effort was never appreciated.
He claimed he went all out for the Grammy-winning artist, even creating a hit song in his honour, yet never received any acknowledgement from him.
Carter added that things changed after getting close to Davido, whom he described as someone who genuinely shows him love and support.
He revealed that Davido once held his head and openly told him he loved him, a gesture he says meant a lot to him.
