Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has revealed he is willing to join any club after parting ways with South Africa’s Chippa United.
The 29-year-old, whose stock rose after standout performances at AFCON, has reportedly attracted interest from several clubs, including South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs, Morocco’s Raja Club Athletic, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ettifaq, a possible move to Rwanda, and English Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
Speaking to Sports Nights Amplified with Andile Ncube, Nwabali said he has no restrictions on where he can play and is prioritizing a move that brings him happiness.
“I can play anywhere I want to play; there is no restriction,” he said.
I am open to any club, local or international. Football deals with happiness, and my happiness comes first.
There are no calls yet. The only calls are from my family and friends and people who are shocked at the news.
“Nothing changed. In football, you wait for the right moment. You really need to enjoy where you are.”
