Disc jockey and activist, DJ Switch, has reacted following the d3ath of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away in London on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
In a post shared via her Instagram story, DJ Switch expressed little sympathy over the former leader’s d3ath, writing:
“The sweet reality of inevitability. RIP MF. One down.”
Her comment sparked backlash online, prompting a follow-up post in which she defended her views.
“Please tell me what is Buhari’s achievement apart from destroying Nigeria,” she wrote.
“When you are a bad leader, people will drink to your demise, but when you lead with fairness, people will mourn when you die.”
DJ Switch added:
“I don’t need to prove my empathy to anybody. When I saw that news, it was like justice. Next on the list, T-Pain, how far?”
A prominent figure during the 2020 #EndSARS movement, DJ Switch rose to international prominence after livestreaming the events at the Lekki Toll Gate, where security forces allegedly opened fire on peaceful protesters. Since then, she has remained a vocal critic of Nigeria’s political leadership.https://www.instagram.com/reel/DMEUmoosab0/embed/captioned/?cr=1&v=14&wp=478&rd=https%3A%2F%2Fladunliadinews.com&rp=%2Fhe-destroyed-nigeria-dj-switch-reacts-to-buharis-d3ath%2F#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A6866%7D
