Ghana head coach, Otto Addo survives road accident

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that members of the Black Stars technical team were involved in a road accident on September 1, while returning from an official assignment in Tarkwa.

Head coach Otto Addo, assistant coach John Paintsil, and goalkeepers trainer Fatawu Dauda were traveling in a Toyota Landcruiser Prado when another vehicle veered into their lane, causing damage to their vehicle.

Fortunately, all three individuals are in stable condition and will undergo further medical assessments as a precaution.

The GFA has expressed gratitude for the public’s concern and support, confirming that the technical team is expected to be ready for upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
