Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has acquired a mansion in London valued at £53 million ($72 million), according to a UK land registry filing
Bloomberg reported that the property is a 10-bedroom detached mansion located in St John’s Wood, a high-end residential area in north-west London.
The exclusive neighbourhood, which is close to Regent’s Park, is known for its cluster of luxury homes and proximity to central London attractions.
The transaction was reportedly completed late last year, according to the filing, although details of the purchase have only recently become public.
Otedola has not commented on the acquisition.
St John’s Wood is also noted for its closeness to Lord’s Cricket Ground and other upscale private residences.
