Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has issued a strong warning to social media trolls who repeatedly attack her online without provocation.
The actress took to her page to express frustration over what she described as constant insults and body shaming from some users.
According to her, critics often flood her comment section with negative remarks, but when she responds, the public tends to judge only her reaction instead of the initial provocation. In her words;
“If you insult me online, please do drop your address so I can attend to you.”
Nkechi Blessing Sunday explained that many people deliberately visit her page just to troll her.
She said these individuals insult her and make hurtful comments about her body, yet when she decides to reply publicly, the blame is placed on her. She further stated that observers rarely acknowledge the actions that triggered her response.
The actress noted that “they will come to my page to troll me unprovoked, insult me and body shame me. But once I reply them publicly, people will not see their own fault.
It’s my reply they see and judge, calling me rude without questioning what triggered my reactions.”
