Nigerian disc jockey and music producer DJ Cuppy has finally explained to her fans why she has never done a social media giveaway like her fellow celebrities.
Many celebrities like Don Jazzy on social media give huge sums of money to their fans who need help as a form of appreciation for their constant support.
Cuppy on the other hand has never done that and some of her fans have called her stingy because everyone knows how wealthy she is.
The “Abena” hitmaker has however taken to social media platform Twitter to explain why she does not do fan giveaways.
According to the “Gelato queen”, giving her fans money feels like she is buying their love and paying for them to be her fans.
“To all my Cupcakes that complain I don’t do Money Giveaways, I hear you… BUT I’ve always felt like that was essentially paying people to be your fans? 🤷🏽♀️#TeamCuppy” she explained.

Her statement has generated some reactions from her fans with some fans applauding her for her stance while others still claim she is stingy with her money.
