Davido Announces Date & New Venue For Lagos Concert!

Nigerian Afropop star, Davido has finally announced the new venue for his Lagos concert, City of Davido, which although is still Eko Hotel, it’s not in the Eko Hotel popular compound. This time, the event is at Ocean View Grounds, Victoria Island.

The announcement was made via Instagram where the singer who also revealed that tickets are already available for sales said;

Davido initially had issues with his first choice venue, Eko Atlantic where he announced to fans that he was banned from using the space for his show due to political reasons. The management of Eko Atlantic in response replied with their explanation stating that the singer was not banned and although his request for the hall came in late as at when he sent it, he hasn’t responded to their follow up mail.

The resolution on that issue was never made public other than Davido mentioning he’ll inform fans of new venue once he finds one and now, the popular Ocean View seems like the new spot for the City of Davido concert come December 27th, a day after Burna Boy’s performance on the 26th of December.
