Comedian Okey Bakassi, other VIPs phones stolen during football game in Ikoyi

Okey Bakassi has raised the alarm over important phones that were stolen during a football game in Ikoyi, Lagos

According to him, a young man showed up at the pitch where he and others regularly meet to play.

The stranger asked if he could join the game, and since it’s common for new faces to be welcomed in the spirit of friendly football, no one suspected anything unusual.

However, things quickly took a turn. Not long after joining the match, the young man quietly stepped off the field and sat near the bench where players had kept their belongings. Before anyone realized what was happening, he allegedly gathered several phones said to be about eight and disappeared.

Bakassi revealed that the incident has already been reported to the authorities. He also added that a reward of ₦5 million has been announced for anyone who can provide useful information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
