Chris Brown deactivates Instagram account

Chris Brown, the American singer-songwriter, deactivated his Instagram account which had over 75 million followers

He announced his break from social media with a blunt message: “Ima take a break from social media. Y’all done pissed me off long enough”.

Chris Brown faced criticism recently over a performance with Kayla Nicole on his “Breezy Bowl XX” tour, with some accusing him of showing “colorist” tendencies.

He responded by saying “MISS ME WITH THE COLORIST RAGE BAITING”.

There’s an unconfirmed report that Chris Brown charged $1,200 for a photo with a male fan.

Chris Brown was arrested on May 15, 2025, related to an incident in February 2023 where he allegedly assaulted music producer Abe Diaw at a London nightclub. Diaw is seeking $16 million in damages.
