Manchester United have announced that Casemiro will be leaving the club at the end of the current campaign following the expiration of his contract
The Brazilian midfielder, who has been an important figure in the squad this season, will bring his Old Trafford chapter to a close this summer. Now 33, Casemiro has spent four years with the Red Devils, making 146 appearances and scoring 21 goals across all competitions.
Casemiro played a crucial role in United’s 2023 Carabao Cup triumph, memorably heading home in the final against Newcastle United. He added another major honour to his collection by helping the club lift the FA Cup in 2024.
The club confirmed that supporters will be given the chance to celebrate his contributions during United’s final home fixture of the season against Nottingham Forest.
