Carter Efe clears himself with versity certificate after Ycee’s ‘Olodo uprising’ statement

Content creator and streamer Carter Efe has shared what he says is his Babcock University degree certificate after rapper Ycee‘s “Olodo uprising” comments, apparently distancing himself from the criticism directed at Peller and other streamers.

During an interview, Ycee said academic excellence is no longer celebrated, referencing Peller and what he described as an “Olodo uprising.”

Following the interview, Carter Efe posted a copy of his certificate, saying he studied Biochemistry at Babcock University, graduated with a First Class and was the best graduating student in his set.

“I went to Babcock University. I study Biochemistry. I came out with first class upper… Best student in my set,” he wrote.

However, his post has also raised questions, with many pointing out that Nigerian universities award First Class Honours as the highest degree classification, while Upper and Lower apply only to Second Class degrees.

Others questioned the authenticity of the certificate, while some asked Carter Efe to share photos or videos from his graduation ceremony as additional proof of his claims.
