Nollywood star Eniola Badmus is sending a powerful message to plus-sized women about self-love and confidence.
Sharing her striking before-and-after photos, she said:
“I need you to hear this from me….being ‘fat’ is not the problem. Hating yourself is. Doubting yourself is believing you’re not enough. That’s the real struggle.”
She reminded fans that size doesn’t define worth:
“Your size has never cancelled your worth. You can be confident, successful, loved, admired, and unstoppable at any size. And if you choose to lose weight, let it be from a place of love….not shame.
Let it be because you want to feel healthier, stronger, and happier… not because the world told you to shrink.
Reflecting on her own journey, Eniola shared the secret to real transformation:
“My weight-loss journey has taught me one powerful lesson: transformation starts in the mind. I didn’t wake up one day different….I made small, consistent decisions. And guess what? You can too. If I can do it, you can absolutely do it.”
She urged everyone to cherish their bodies:
“But listen carefully….even before the weight changes, you must love the body you’re in right now. Respect it. Thank it. Celebrate it. This body has carried you through so much. Don’t insult it.”
And she left a final empowering reminder:
“If you’re on a journey, be patient with yourself. If you’re not, still walk boldly. Confidence is not a size; it’s an attitude.”
Eniola also thanked her supporters:
“And to everyone who has supported and celebrated my journey so far… I see you.
I appreciate you. Your love means everything to me. Thank you for growing with me. Let’s keep becoming better….not because we hate who we are, but because we love ourselves enough to evolve.”
