Asake recalls first meeting with Olamide

Nigerian singer Asake has shared a lighthearted memory from the early stage of his career, reflecting on his first meeting with music executive Olamide.

He said the opportunity came after he received an unexpected message inviting him to Olamide’s home, an experience that left him both excited and anxious as he prepared for the visit.

“Olamide just texted me one morning. Baddo said come to the house. Bro, I won’t lie to you, I changed more than five outfits because I wanted to go and see Baddo,” Asake said.

The moment remains one of the singer’s memorable early encounters as he began building his path in the  music industry.
