She kept her fans updated throughout Saturday amid her health problems. But Ariana Grande revealed on Sunday that she had woken up ‘ten times worse’ and therefore had to cancel her Lexington, Kentucky, show.
The 26-year-old to her Instagram Stories to make the teary announcement where she said she was ‘so upset.’
‘Okay, so I woke up kind of ten times worse and it hurts so bad to swallow,’ she began.
‘I’m not really sure what’s going on, but I unfortunately don’t think I will be able to push through tonight and I’m SO upset and sorry,’ she said.
‘Ugh. I’m so upset, but of course, obviously you’ll be refunded and etc. I’m just really devastated.’
Ariana continued to express her devastation and thanked her fans for understanding and keeping up to date on the situation at hand.
‘Thank you for understanding and sending love, etc whatever,’ she added.
‘I’ll keep you posted as soon as I know what’s going with my body, but thank you for understanding, and I am so sorry.’
