Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has reportedly refused to play for the club again as transfer tensions mount in Serie A
The Nigerian forward is said to have informed La Dea of his decision amid reports that Inter Milan is preparing a third bid to secure his signature.
Inter have already seen two offers turned down but are now willing to approach Atalanta’s asking price.
Broadcast journalist Onyebuchi Onokala, popularly known as Buchi Laba, confirmed the development in a post on X:
“100% Confirmed: Inter Milan will make another offer for Ademola Lookman. This 3rd offer will be close to what Atalanta wants. Lookman has made it very clear to Atalanta he won’t play for the club anymore. He wants Inter but Atalanta wants to sell him to clubs outside Italy.”
Lookman, a key figure for both Atalanta and Nigeria’s Super Eagles, is now at the center of a transfer standoff, with Inter pushing to bring him to San Siro and Atalanta exploring options beyond Serie A.
