Adele bans unvaccinated fans from attending her concerts

Adele has banned unvaccinated fans from attending her upcoming Las Vegas residency – ruling that even half vaccinated supporters can not attend. The British music superstar, 33, sent the globe into a frenzy when she announced the 24-date run at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Sin City last month. But hard line rules risk putting thousands off making the journey to attend the Weekends With Adele residency which begins on January 21. A statement on Ticketmaster states: “The Event Organiser is requiring all attendees of this event to have been fully vaccinated (14 days past final vaccination shot ) AND to have received a negative COVID-19 test within 48-hours of the event. Both proof of vaccination AND proof of negative test within 48-hours of the event is required to enter the event.” The site goes on to add that at home kits do not qualify as adequate. In comparison, Sir Rod Stewart, 76, is allowing unvaccinated fans into his shows at the same 4,300 seater venue, as long as all guests agree to the “wearing of masks at all times unless eating and drinking, and receiving a temperature check at the venue entrance upon arrival”.
