A federal indictment against Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs finally unveils what authorities confiscated during March raids at the rapper’s Los Angeles and Miami homes
The rapper was hit with charges including Racketeering Conspiracy, S3x Trafficking by Force, Fraud, or Coercion, and Transportation to Engage in Prostitution after months of lead up.
As civil lawsuits with s3xual misconduct claims rolled in, federal investigators conducted a thorough raid on the musician’s home. However, it is not clear if those civil lawsuits are directly connected to Homeland Security’s decision to parse through his belongings.
Aaron Dyer, Diddy’s Attorney, told The Mirror at the time: “There was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”
He added: “This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits. There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”
The federal indictment detailed supplies obtained by authorities, including firearms and ammunition. Three AR-15s with defaced serial numbers and a drum magazine were confiscated, according to the indictment. According to court documents, obtained by The Mirror, Diddy allegedly “carried or brandished firearms to intimidate and threaten others, including victims and witnesses to his abuse” on “more than one occasion.”
“Members and associates of the Combs Enterprise, including Combs’ security personnel, at times carried firearms,” further alleges the indictment.
Additionally, specific supplies for alleged “Freak Offs” were confiscated by federal officials, according to the court documents. Diddy allegedly “used force, threats of fore, and coercion, to cause victims to engage in extended sex acts with male commercial sex workers that Combs referred to as, among other things, ‘Freak Offs.’”
Authorities claim they found supplies for the alleged Freak Offs in his home. These materials allegedly included “narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.”
The alleged Freak Offs, according to the indictment, would allegedly be held in hotel rooms where were stocked in advance with “controlled substances, baby oil, lubricant, extra linens, and lighting.” The hotel rooms were allegedly cleaned afterwards “to mitigate room damage.”
Diddy has vehemently denied all allegations made against him.
