WoW Children’s Day Fiesta Champions Full Inclusion with Over 1,700 Children

The 6th Edition of the WoW Children’s Day Fiesta, organized by Make It WoW Limited, was held on May 27, 2025, and welcomed a record-breaking 1,758 children from various communities across Lagos, including children living with disabilities, orphans, and children from underserved backgrounds.

This landmark event was spearheaded by Owolabi Emmanuel Tosin, the Founder and CEO of Make It WoW Limited and Make It WoW Humanitarian Foundation. A renowned event visionary and humanitarian advocate, Owolabi has consistently championed inclusivity in community engagement and children’s development across Africa. His tireless efforts have positioned him as a leading voice for inclusion and equality on the continent.

This year’s theme, “Full Inclusion”, underscored a vital message: every child deserves access, joy, and opportunity—regardless of their physical, mental, or social challenges. The highlight of the event was the presence of renowned human rights advocate and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mrs. Funmi Falana (SAN), who delivered a compelling speech on the importance of inclusion, equity, and collective responsibility in creating a more accessible and fair society for children.

Children from the Down Syndrome Foundation of Nigeria gave an emotional and joyful performance that reminded all in attendance of the power of visibility and belonging. The event was intentionally designed with accessible activities—from ball pits for children with mobility limitations to horse rides, train rides, and bouncy castles, ensuring no child was left out.

In partnership with Emergency Response Africa, kids were also taught life-saving CPR skills in a fun and practical format—reinforcing that empowerment should start early and be available to all.

The children had an abundance of food, drinks, music, laughter, and gifts.
