Wolfsburg has completed the signing of 22-year-old Nigerian-eligible striker Lukas Nmecha on a 4 year deal worth 11 million pounds from Man City.
The announcement was made during the late hours of 16th July 2021 by the German football club via their website and official social media pages.

Born in Hamburg, Germany to a Nigerian father and a German mother, but raised in England, Nmecha is eligible to play for Nigeria, Germany, and England.
Nmecha, 22, scaled through the ranks at City, after joining as a 9-year-old and made his inaugural appearance under Guardiola in a Carabao Cup victory at Leicester City in December 2017, before getting two more league appearances that season.
Since then, he has gone out on loan four times, playing for Preston North End, Middlesbrough, and Wolfsburg before having his best campaign last season at Anderlecht under the guidance of ex-teammate and City legend, Vincent Kompany.
His performances in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League have been sufficient for the ambitious German club to come back in for his services and have won the race for his signature, beating off interest from rivals RB Leipzig.
