Taking to her social media, the mother of four set the record straight regarding the speculation surrounding her absence from the silver screen.
Omotola explained the reasons behind her sporadic appearances in movies and offered insight into her last film project in Nigeria. She acknowledged the attention fans have given to her pattern of disappearing and reappearing in Nollywood.

“I know many never understand why I take time off movies for a few years and then come back to it again! Lol… I see fans asking when I’ll be back on screens, but when you’ve been working since you were 15 like I have… You’ll do good to relax, relive, relearn, and recharge.
