Victor Osimhen donates tricycles, food items to homegrown community

Football star, Victor Osimhen has given back to his community in Olusosun, Lagos State, where he spent his formative years.

The Super Eagles striker, who is currently making waves on loan at Galatasaray, recently hosted a memorable event in the community, which featured an exciting football tournament.

The highlight of the event, however, was Osimhen’s massive donation of essential items to the residents. A total of 2,000 tricycles were distributed, providing a means of transportation and potential livelihood for many young people in the area.

Additionally, Osimhen donated a large quantity of food items, including bags of rice and cartons of noodles, to help alleviate hunger and support the well-being of the community.

Osimhen’s kind gesture was a deliberate effort to show his appreciation for the community that nurtured him and supported his early days as a footballer.

He specifically instructed that the food items be distributed to elderly women, who are often the most vulnerable members of the community.

The tricycles, on the other hand, were to be given to young people, providing them with a means to earn a living, transport themselves, and potentially escape the cycle of poverty.
