Trevor Noah is set to host the Grammy Awards for the sixth consecutive year
The 2026 show will be held on Sunday, Feb. 1, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The comedian will become the first person to host the Grammys six years running since Andy Williams hosted the first seven live telecasts from 1971 to 1977.
But Noah will not seek to tie or break that velvet-voiced crooner’s record. In a statement announcing the news, Ben Winston, executive producer of the Grammys, said this will be Noah’s final year as host.
“I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time,” Winston, of Fulwell Entertainment, said.
“He’s been the most phenomenal host of the show. He’s so smart, so funny, and such a true fan of the artists and music. His impact on the show has been truly spectacular, and we can’t wait to do it together one last time.”
One other Grammy host has hosted six times, but it wasn’t in consecutive years. John Denver hosted in 1978-79 and again from 1982 to 1985.
