Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan claimed an impressive win in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Rabat Diamond League, clocking a season-best 12.45 seconds (+1.2 m/s wind).
The world record holder bounced back strongly after a fourth-place finish in her season opener in Xiamen, where she ran 12.74 seconds. Her performance in Rabat showcased a return to top form and sent a strong message ahead of upcoming international meets.
Amusan, who made history in 2022 with her world record time of 12.12 seconds, continues to cement her place among the world’s elite hurdlers. With the World Championships in Tokyo on the horizon, her latest victory positions her as a top contender for gold.
Sunday’s win also adds to her growing legacy on the Diamond League circuit, where she remains a consistent and formidable presence.
