
Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali is now a chief in his hometown in Rivers State.
Nwabali, who led Nigeria to the 2024 AFCONfinals with outstanding saves was crowned with the title of Ugo Egbema, “The Pride of Egbema Kingdom,” by His Royal Majesty, Nzeobi Evaristus Amida, the traditional ruler of Mgbede community in Egbema Kingdom.
The traditional ruler said the goalkeeper was given the title for bringing honor to his people.
Stanley was earlier honoured by his state governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
He was rewarded with a state honor alongside a N20 million gift.
