Adesua Etomi-Wellington has recounted her difficult path to becoming a mother
Despite the struggles, Adesua on Instagram expressed unwavering devotion to her sons, stating she would gladly endure the challenges again for them.
Etomi’s emotional reflection highlighted the various trials she faced, including a complicated pregnancy, emergency C-section, sleepless nights, and physical hardships.
However, she emphasised that the joy, love, and triumph of motherhood make it all worthwhile.
Etomi celebrated the resilience and selflessness of mothers everywhere, referring to them as “the closest thing to magic.”
She wrote: “Today, I’m taking the time to think about my journey to motherhood. It wasn’t a straight road, but when I look at my boys, it is well worth it. The tough pregnancy journey, to the complications, to the injections, to the emergency c-section, to the sleepless nights, to the tough healing process, to the post-birth constipation, to the expressing endlessly, to bleeding and cracked nipples, to showing up and being present even when ill, to round-the-clock shifts, to the joy, to the indescribable love, to the triumph, to the laughter, to the beautiful moments. I’ll do it all again for these boys. I will literally do anything for them.
To all the mothers who are mothering, we are the closest thing to magic. Happy Mothering Day”.
