The Senior Pastor of The Covenant Nation and Convener, The Platform Nigeria, Poju Oyemade, has faulted the claims by a Catholic priest in the Abuja Archdiocese, Rev. Fr. Chinenye Oluoma, that gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo charges between N5-N10m for performances even in churches.
Faulting the claim, Oyemade on his verified Twitter handle today responded to the news writing;
“Mercy Chinwo sang at our service at Lekki last Sunday and the honorarium we gave was at our discretion. She made NO formal charges.”
