The Premier League’s independent commission will begin hearing Manchester City’s 115 alleged financial fair play rule violations on Monday.
The charges span a nine-year period, from 2009 to 2018, during which City won three Premier League titles.
City denies all charges, including failing to disclose accurate financial information, secret contracts, and non-compliance with UEFA’s financial fair play rules.
The hearing is expected to last up to two months, with a decision potentially delayed until March or later due to the complexity of the case.
Any punishment could range from a points deduction to expulsion from the Premier League, although the latter is considered extreme.
City has expressed surprise at the charges and provided extensive evidence to support their position.
