Nigerian afrobeat singer Yemi Alade has been added to the artiste lineup for the Essence Street Style 2018 happening on the 9th of September in Brooklyn, New York.
This news was officially made by Essence via their Twitter account on the 8th of August where they announced that Yemi Alade and multitalented American artiste, Tayana Taylor have been added to the lineup of performers for the event.
The Essence Street Style is organized by Essence magazine and it was created in 2014 to provide a space where fashion elite, style influencers and everyday fashionistas can come to celebrate the unique influence black women have on all facets of fashion, style and beauty during the New York Fashion Week.
