Iconic crooner Lionel Richie knows all about the sweet smell of success. And now he is hoping to follow in the footsteps of stars including Britney Spears, Beyoncé, and the Beckhams by launching his own fragrance.
The 70-year-old has named it after his biggest hit, Hello. And while some people familiar with his back catalogue may fear it being a bit cheesy, it is described as “sensual” with “rich amber and musk”.
Lionel said: “There are many similarities between songwriting and fragrance creation – the notes have to work together to tell a story. Creative people are curious. I learned so much in this process of creating my fragrance.”
