American rapper Lil Wayne wins long legal battle against former boss Birdman.
It was a long walk to freedom for Weezy who has been having a legal spat and several face off with his mentor Baby. The latest update is that the “Lollipop” crooner won the lawsuit against Birdman’s Cash Money Records and Universal Music.
It is gathered that Lil Wayne won the settlement which is over $10 million dollars. According to reports, the settlement fee did not come from Baby’s pocket, but from Universal Records.
As part of the arrangement, Lil Wayne is now officially done with Cash Money and the infamous “Tha Carter V” album will now be put out by Universal.
