It’s hard to even put into words the pain Kehinde Adegbodu is feeling after losing his twin brother, Taiwo.
In a raw, heart-wrenching message, he opened up to the world:
“By this time last week Saturday, you were still alive and very active. We were together till 11pm before you left suddenly.”
Eight days have passed, yet the emptiness is unbearable. Kehinde’s grief spills through every line:
“It’s already 8 days without you, my best friend. Eight days you chose to stay alone in the morgue without telling me you were going. I will not see you anymore, I will not hear your powerful vocal voice again, but you suppose to know that I will miss you a lot.”
He prayed for his brother in Heaven: “OLỌRUN MA TOBI O. Please Sir T, you must do everything to become the number one choir master in Heaven and you must be with me in spirit to take care of the kids, wife, and band members.”
Recalling Taiwo’s wisdom, he smiled through tears: “Now I understand the reason why you always tell me I can do it… now I know why sometimes you tell our manager we can attend two shows at a time. Ha, Sir T… O DAJU MI oooo.”
And with a vow that tugs at the heart: “But I promise never to disappoint you in every area and I am sure you will stay with me forever till we meet again up there. IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL!”
