Football star Victor Osimhen has opened up about the tough conditions he endured growing up, revealing that he once cleaned gutters for as little as N30.
In a candid chat with media personality Daddy Freeze, Osimhen reflected on his humble beginnings and the menial jobs he took on to support himself as a child.
He shared that he often fetched water for residents in a nearby “face-me-I-face-you” apartment building, earning N80 for the task. At other times, he cleaned out gutters clogged with algae and filth for just N30.
Osimhen’s story highlights the challenging path he walked before rising to fame, now regarded as one of Africa’s top footballers.
“There was this building right in front of our house,” he recounted. “I used to fetch water for the people upstairs for N80. Sometimes, I cleaned out gutters full of green slime. That was just N30.”
