Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platnumz has revealed he is raising children who may not be biologically his but insists he holds no resentment and remains a committed father to all of them.
Speaking in an interview, the singer said he’s aware that not all of the kids he’s raising are his, but he has chosen not to contest it. “I know some of them may not be mine, but I don’t want to argue with their mothers. I still care for and raise all of them,” he said.
Diamond has four publicly known children from different relationships. He shares Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan with Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan, has a son named Dylan with Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto, and a boy, Naseeb Junior, with Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna.
According to him, his mother, Sanura Kassim, has also suggested that he might have other children from previous relationships, though he has never confirmed it.
Despite the complex family dynamics, Diamond says he maintains a cordial relationship with all his baby mamas. “I’m on good terms with them. They all love me because I treat them well,” he said.
However, his friendly co-parenting has sometimes created tension with the women’s new partners. “There have been issues where their men get angry, thinking there’s still something between us. But there’s nothing—just mutual respect,” he added.
