Ghanaian talented singer, songwriter, and performer, Gregory Bortey Newman, popularly known as King Promise, has expressed his disappointment at Wizkid’s loss at the recently held 64th Grammy Awards.
Nigerian Afrobeats Superstar Wizkid lost in two categories at the 2022 Grammys and his Ghanaian counterpart is of the opinion that it shouldn’t have been so.
King Promise, who recently held his first headline concert in Lagos, made it known that the recording academy’s decision to ignore Wizkid was “whack”.
In the interview with BEAT FM, the singer-songwriter went on to state that Wizkid hasn’t even scratched the surface of his talent as he has more quality work coming for the fans. King Promise also spoke about his career, Upcoming project, upcoming music tours, and other interesting topics.
