Rihanna has revealed how her late father, Ronald Fenty, who passed away at the age of 70 inspired her parenting style.
Speaking at the premiere of the upcoming ‘Smurfs’ film in Los Angeles, Rihanna shared fond memories of her father and how his adventurous spirit has influenced her parenting style.
Rihanna expressed her hopes and dreams for her father to have been a grandfather to her sons, RZA and Riot.
She reflected on how her father’s personality traits have shaped her approach to raising her children. “I think it prepared me for having two boys,” she said.
Rihanna wants to instill a sense of adventure and freedom in her children, allowing them to explore and experience life fully.
She said: “I’ve always wanted that and I’ve always dreamed of what type of grandfather he would be to them because of the favorite parts of my dad. I think it prepared me for having two boys”
“The adventure side of me, the outside side of me, the daredevil. It’s how I want to raise them and I want them to be outside and be in nature”
