Gbenga Adeyinka Suing Peruzzi After He Failed To Show Up At His Akure Show After N4m Went Down

Gbenga Adeyinka 1st, one of Nigeria’s leading comedians and MC, has threatened to institute a legal suit against singer Tobechukwu ‘Peruzzi’ Okoh over his absence at the June 12 edition of Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and friends.

Adeyinka, The Nation gathered, had instructed his lawyers to write Peruzzi after he failed to show up and perform at the event that was held in Akure on June 12, 2022.

The papers filed by Adeyinka’s lawyers implied that Peruzzi failed to show up and perform after the comedian had paid the sum of N2.5 million for his services.

It was also gathered that Adeyinka had incurred an extra N1.5million that covered the flight ticket, rooms, and transportation to and from the airport for Peruzzi.

In an attempt to get his response, Adeyinka refused to comment on the matter saying it is a legal matter and won’t want to distort the process.

However, sources maintained that the comedian was forced to instruct his lawyers to write Peruzzi so as to prove to his teeming fans and show attendees that he truly contracted the services of the DMW signee and save his reputation.
