Don’t discredit my years of hardwork – Young John tells critics

Young John has appealed to his critics, requesting that they refrain from disparaging his talent and hard work, emphasizing that achieving his current level of success has been a long-term endeavour

In response to recent criticism, with some fans accusing him of being monotonous, the producer-turned-singer urged those who do not appreciate his music to simply ignore it rather than diminishing his efforts.

He wrote:

“If you’re not a fan of my work, leave it at that! Don’t come here and water down my years of hard work!”

Young John started his career as a producer in 2010 and gained recognition through his association with Olamide’s YBNL family. He transitioned to singing after signing a recording contract with Chocolate City in 2022.

His single “Dada” achieved significant success, and the remix featuring Davido further enhanced Young John’s popularity as a vocalist.
