DJ Cuppy has assured her fans that she is doing well after announcing a break from social media to embark on a 21‑day biblical fast and personal retreat
On Instagram, Cuppy shared that this is her first time stepping away from her online presence for an extended period.
She explained that after a reflective few weeks, she realized the fast was something she “needed more than ever” and that she wanted time for herself and to be “hidden with God.”
She wrote: “Never done this before. I’ll be offline and taking a social media break for a little while… I’m starting 2026 with a 21 day biblical fast and after the last few weeks I realised I needed it more than ever. I need time for myself and time being hidden with God. I have a few personal things I need to process quietly but please do not worry about me I am okay.”
Acknowledging that the pause may feel unusual for her followers—especially since she is accustomed to posting daily—Cuppy urged fans not to worry, emphasizing that she is okay. She described the break as a moment to reset and reconnect before returning to social media.
She added, “I know I usually post on Instagram every day so this feels strange even for me. I will be back. Just taking a moment to reset and reconnect.”
Fans have responded with messages of support, praising her for prioritizing her spiritual and personal wellbeing during this period.
