Davido Donates $5,000 To Music School In Rwanda

Nigerian award-winning singer and Omo Baba Olowo Crooner, Davido is really putting his 30 Billion to good use as he donates $5,000 to a music school hours before his concert in the country’s capital, Kigali on Saturday, 3rd of March; an amount that is equivalent to 1.8 Million naira.

Davido stated that the brightness of the student had motivated him to invest in their future by donating the $5,000 which he did, sending the students to moments of excitement that couldn’t be contained within themselves.

He said;

“I love Africa, and that’s why I told my boy before I stood up here… that I am going to donate $5000 to you,”

The FIA crooner went further to state on Twitter;

“As I always say ‘we rise by lifting others’.

“Visited a music school in Rwanda today, the beautiful bright spirit of the people I met there motivated me to donate to their future… One Love, Worldwide!”

 

That was not the only freebies the students got as their love for the Naija artiste and his songs got them free tickets to his concert which took place Saturday night, 3rd of March at Amahoro Stadium, Kigali.

The 30 Billion Gang Tour put together by Temple Management Company is presently ongoing in French-speaking countries in Africa and Davido will be having another performance in the Democratic of Congo come March 9th and Brazzaville, still in Congo on March 10. Next stop for the tour will be Douala, Cameroon on March 17, Niamey in Niger on March 21 and round off the tour in Dakar, Senegal on March 24.

With his successful shows so far, Davido is definitely not leaving any stone unturned as he sets to truly conquer Africa with his music.
