CKay has released his highly anticipated single, ‘Watawi’ which features Davido, Focalistic, and Abidoza.
Hot off the back of his global appealing hit records, “Love Nwantiti” and “Emiliana,” CKaypushes for another continent-spanning hit with his latest, “Watawi.” On the new single, CKaycollaborates with fellow Nigerian superstar, Davido alongside South African singer, Focalistic and South African record producer cum disk jockey, Abidoza.
The chemistry between CKay and Davido, Davido and Focalistic has been on the build-up over the months, they previously delivered like Hebrew women on these singles; ‘La La‘ and ‘Champion Sound‘ respectively. ‘Watawi‘ is a perfect result of what the bromance between the West/South African tyyysuperstars can produce.
The soothing amapiano tune ‘Watawi‘ is produced by South African beatmaker Abidoza, it comes with a befitting music video. It is CKay‘s second output for the year, it comes shortly after the previously released ‘Maria,’ assisted by Silly Walks Discotheque. Listen here.
