Candy Bleakz has spoken out about content creator Kolu’s arrest in the UK
She sponsored his trip and had warned him to follow travel rules, but things went south at the airport when Kolu couldn’t find his passport.
Candy advised him to stay calm, but he allegedly got confrontational which led to his arrest.
She’s been trying to resolve the issue, explaining to authorities that Kolu might not have understood the situation, but they’re not releasing him.
Candy’s worried about deportation, which could harm his travel record. “He’s not used to this, he’s from Nigeria,” she said, pleading for understanding.
Candybleaks said:
“I made sure that I told Kolu that he is flying to UK on my name, and if he doesn’t come back to Nigeria, it’s going to have a huge effect on me. We wanted to board a flight, Kolu couldn’t find his passport. I said okay Kolu just calm down check everywhere for your passport. Okay you didn’t see it, what do we do next, we needed to communicate this to these people, instead Kolu go dey f!ght. Kolu calm down, e no hear. He thinks say na Naija. Them don carry am go station. I’ve been at the station since trying to communicate with this people let them know that this person no understand. Them no gree oo. And I don’t want them to return him through deportation because it’s going to spoil his passport.
