Jaywon has said his colleague, Burna Boy is very wrong to say nobody paved the way for him in the music industry.
During an interview with Teju Babyface, Jaywon expressed disbelief at such a statement, describing it as madness.
He emphasised the role of predecessors in paving the way for others in the industry and questioned how artists could learn and be inspired without someone leading the path.
“People will say someone inspired you, is different from someone opening doors for you. Tell me, if someone didn’t do it first, where did people rom behind learn it from.”
