Alex Iwobi has been named in the 2026 Football Black List, which celebrates the most influential Black individuals in British football.
The Fulham FC midfielder earned the recognition for his impact off the pitch, particularly through his Project 17 initiative, which focuses on community development and youth empowerment.
Endorsed by the Premier League, the Football Black List honors individuals of African and Caribbean heritage making significant contributions to the sport, both on and off the field.
Founded in 2008 by Leon Mann and Rodney Hinds, the initiative highlights figures who are inspiring the next generation to pursue careers in football.
Iwobi, along with other recipients, will be honored at a ceremony in Westminster on April 14.
The former Arsenal FC star is currently in camp with the Nigeria national football team ahead of international friendlies against Iran and Jordan.
