
Former Super Eagles midfielder, Mutiu Adepoju, has backed Victor Osimhen to break the team’s all-time top scorers’ record

Osimhen moved levelled on second position with the legendary Segun Odegbami (23 goals) after scoring in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Benin Republic last Thursday.

Osimhen moved levelled on second position with the legendary Segun Odegbami (23 goals) after scoring in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Benin Republic last Thursday.
The 25-year-old has now set his sights on surpassing Yekini’s mark.
Adepoju believed Osimhen has what it takes to achieve the feat.
“Osimhen has all it takes to break Yekini’s record,” Adepoju told SuperSport.
“He’s a very committed player, gives everything for the national team and so it’s very possible for him to break Yekini’s record.”
