The official video of Ogechi Remix, which was the wedding song of popstar, Davido and his wife, Chioma, has been removed from YouTube over copyright issues
Boypee and his collaborators, Brown Joel and Hyce, originally own the hit song ‘Ogechi’ which Davido later remixed.
Following the removal of the video which was uploaded on Davido’s record label, DMW YouTube page, an X user, @Johnnyescoba had cliamed the video was pulled down due to Davido’s greed and even made a quote allegedly credited to BoyPee.
The report claims the video was removed because the DMW boss wanted to take all the royalties from the views.
The user wrote, “‘We had to take down the Ogechi Remix video cuz Davido wanted to take all the royalties.’
“- Boypee in a recent interview.”
Reacting fast to the claim, Boypee denied he ever said it, and questioned why the X user wants his downfall.
Quoting the post, Boypee wrote; “You and who talk that one ? To what profit eh guy? Wetin you wan use my downfall do?”
