
Alternative sound before now was an alien genre of music for most Nigerians but the trend has changed, thanks to the very few non-conformists in the industry.
The likes of Ric Hassani, Johnny Drille, Ayo Awosika, Aramide, Sojay, Lady Donli, Odunsi The Engine, Funbi, TJan and a couple others, have made this possible by putting in so much hard work. (We dare not forget some of the pioneers like Asa and Nneka).
In an interview with Hip TV, Gentleman singer, Ric Hassani expressed how happy he was that alternative music has been accepted and is being listened to widely.
In other words, Ric is happy that he is being appreciated and accepted.
