Tonto Dikeh sponsors student’s education, empowers father with N1M

Tonto Dikeh has touched lives once again, this time through a generous act of support for a student

On her Instagram page, the actress shared that during a recent evangelism outreach, she had promised to sponsor a junior secondary school student all the way through to university.

True to her word, Tonto and her team returned to the school to fulfill the commitment. During the visit, they met the student’s father and provided school essentials, including new bags and sandals, while also extending support to several other students.

Taking her support further, Tonto gave the student’s father ₦1,000,000 to help him start a small business, enabling him to provide for his three children. Additionally, she revealed that she had ordered 10 laptops for the school to enhance digital learning for all students.

Tonto wrote, “During our evangelism outreach at Junior Secondary School Durumi II, I promised to support a young boy’s education from JSS1 all the way to university. By God’s grace, my team and I returned to fulfill that promise. We provided him with school supplies and extended help to a few other students.

While speaking with his father, a widower raising three children, I felt led to do more. I assisted him with ₦1,000,000 to start a small business so he could support his family with stability.

We are also providing 10 laptops to the school to enhance their teaching and digital learning. This is what the Gospel looks like—not just words, but action.”

Tonto’s gesture has been praised online as an inspiring example of using influence to create lasting impact.
