“The assignment is bigger than the noise” – Tonto Dikeh responds to critics

Tonto Dikeh is not backing down after the criticism that followed her deliverance video.

The Nollywood actress has responded to the backlash with a strong message , making it clear that she remains focused on what she believes is a divine mission.

According to her, the purpose God has given her is far too important to be overshadowed by online criticism. Instead of paying attention to the noise, she says her focus remains firmly on Jesus.

She also stressed that Jesus does not need anyone to defend Him, adding that she is prepared to endure criticism if it means openly expressing her faith.

“THE ASSIGNMENT GOD HAS PLACED UPON ME IS TOO IMPORTANT TO GET DISTRACTED.
MY EYES ARE ON JESUS, AND HE NEEDS NO ONE TO DEFEND HIS NAME.”

The actress, who referred to herself as Evangelist Tonto Dikeh, said she would rather face ridicule than keep quiet about the one she believes saved her.

“I EVANGELIST TONTO DIKEH WOULD RATHER BE MOCKED, RIDICULED, would rather be mocked, ridiculed, or even slain than silence the name of the one who saved me. I REFUSE TO HIDE GOD TO PROTECT MY IMAGE BEFORE MERE MORTALS.”

Despite the criticism, the actress said she remains unshaken. In fact, she suggested she would embrace the mockery if that is the price of standing firm in her faith.

“IF IT COMES TO IT, I WILL WEAR MOCKERY LIKE PERFUME AND CARRY REPROACH LIKE A CROWN, BECAUSE HE IS WORTH IT ALL.”

She ended her message with love for both supporters and critics alike, while insisting that what she is facing goes beyond ordinary human opposition.

“I LOVE YOU ALL(the good, the ugly and the bad)
THE WORLD IS NOT FIGHTING ME, THE KINGDOM OF HELL IS, AND I UNDERSTAND THIS.
SO NO HATE OVER HERE, WE BATTLE ON OUR KNEES IN PRAYER. THAT WHERE TRUE STRENGTH IS FORGED, AND TRUE VICTORIES ARE WON.”
